Prima storia del terzo boxset dedicato al decimo Dottore, nuovamente con Donna come companion.
L'alchimia tra Tennant e Tate è ancora forte ma, in questa prima ghost story con famiglia a seguito, tutto sembra troppo forzato.
L'intera famiglia Noble è coinvolta e i rapporti fin troppo familiari con il Dottore si inseriscono male con la serie tv. Non sarebbe sembrato forzato se ci fosse stato solo Wilfred, ma l'atteggiamento fin troppo amichevole di Sylvia Noble sembra eccessivo, anche in considerazione della trama.
La storia in sé è la classica storia di fantasmi, con il cacciatore di fenomeni parnormali che si ritrova invischiato in qualcosa più grande di lui.
Un inizio non eccezionale, ma un ottimo riscaldamento.
